Rezum.io is a technological platform designed to help users create, edit, and publish professional profiles, export resumes in PDF format, and generate tailored versions for job applications.

• Not an Employment Agency: Rezum.io provides software tools, including semantic matching and recruiter search functionalities. We are not an employment agency, headhunter, or employer.
• No Guarantees: We do not guarantee job interviews, employment offers, or any specific career outcomes. The success of your job search depends entirely on your qualifications and the decisions of third-party employers.

Our platform integrates advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) models to assist you with drafting, improving, and tailoring your professional content.

IMPORTANT: AI-generated content is provided for assistance and inspiration. AI models can occasionally produce inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information (often referred to as "hallucinations"). You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all content before publishing your profile, exporting a PDF, or submitting an application to an employer. Rezum.io accepts no liability for any errors, omissions, or negative outcomes resulting from the use of AI-generated text.

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use Rezum.io. By using the platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to comply with these Terms.

To use most features of Rezum.io, you must register for an account using your email or a third-party provider (e.g., Google OAuth).

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• Fair Use and Email Aliases: To ensure fair distribution of AI resources, each user is limited to one account. Registration using email aliases or suffixes (e.g., “user+1@gmail.com”) to bypass quota limits or create duplicate accounts is not allowed.
• You may permanently delete your account at any time through the platform settings. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed from our active databases in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Rezum.io operates on a tiered model (e.g., FREE and PRO plans).

• AI Quotas: Usage of AI features is subject to monthly token limits based on your active plan. We reserve the right to enforce these limits to maintain platform stability.
• Billing: PRO plans require payment through our designated third-party payment processor. Subscriptions renew automatically according to your selected billing cycle.
• Refund Policy: Due to the digital nature of the service and the immediate, unrecoverable costs associated with AI processing (token consumption), all purchases are non-refundable, except where required by mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.

You agree to use Rezum.io only for its intended purpose: managing your professional identity and facilitating legitimate recruitment connections. You strictly agree NOT to:

• Use automated scripts, bots, scrapers, or reverse-engineering techniques on the platform.
• Attempt to bypass, exploit, or abuse the AI token quotas.
• Upload false, misleading, offensive, defamatory, or illegal content.
• Use the AI features to generate content unrelated to professional profiles or job searching.
• Violate any applicable laws or the intellectual property rights of third parties.

Your Content: You retain full ownership of all the data, text, context notes, and media (such as portfolio images) you upload to Rezum.io. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display this data to provide the service to you (and to recruiters, if you set your profile or applications to public).

Our Platform: Rezum.io retains all intellectual property rights to the platform's code, UI/UX design, semantic matching algorithms, taxonomies, and PDF templates. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the exported PDFs for your personal career advancement.

Your privacy is critical to us. Our data practices are governed by our Privacy Policy.

Consent-Based Analytics: We use analytics tools (such as PostHog) to understand platform usage and improve our services. By default, analytics tracking is disabled. It is only activated if you explicitly accept it via our consent banner. You can decline tracking without experiencing any loss of platform functionality.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to suspend or permanently terminate your account without notice or liability if you breach these Terms, particularly the Acceptable Use Policy, or if your usage poses a security risk or operational burden to our infrastructure.

If your account is suspended or terminated for breach, you may not create a new account under your own name, a false identity, or on behalf of another person or entity.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the platform at any time, including features, limits, or technical integrations, to reflect product, security, legal, or operational requirements.

While we aim for high availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance, third-party outages, security incidents, or infrastructure failures may cause interruptions, delays, or temporary loss of access.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Rezum.io disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure at all times, or fully compatible with every device, browser, or third-party service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rezum.io and its directors, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities, goodwill, or data, arising from or related to your use of the platform.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the applicable paid subscription during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

The platform relies on third-party services (including hosting, authentication, analytics, email delivery, storage, and AI providers) to operate core functionality. Their availability and performance are outside our direct control.

Your use of third-party services may also be subject to those providers' separate terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party products, services, or content that are not owned or operated by Rezum.io.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Rezum.io, its affiliates, and its team from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your misuse of the platform, (c) your content, or (d) your violation of applicable law or third-party rights.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, technology, or legal requirements. We will notify you of any material changes via email or a prominent notice on the platform. Continued use of the platform after such updates constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain and the European Union, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the courts located in Barcelona, Spain, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights that may allow you to bring claims in your country of residence.

These Terms, together with any policies expressly referenced herein (including the Privacy Policy), constitute the entire agreement between you and Rezum.io regarding the platform and supersede any prior agreements on the same subject matter.

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not waive that right or provision.
